Top 5 Sites to Shop Cruelty Free!

It can be so difficult to find shops on the high street that sell Cruelty Free items, I know I have struggled numerous times! So below are my top 5 websites who only stock Cruelty Free items, so you can shop to your hearts content! These websites include Cruelty Free and vegan products and range from skincare to makeup products.

cutecosmetics-web-logo1) CutECOsmetics

This company is excellent, I have used them a number of times for makeup as they supply some of the really top Cruelty Free makeup brands like Sugarpill, Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics and theBalm. They are ‘an online eco, organic, vegan & cruelty free cosmetics specialist’ and family run! Their organic products are certified and all, and I do mean ALL, of their products are Cruelty Free.

They do free shipping over £40 and their products range from makeup, to skincare, to mum and baby products. I personally have found some new brands I love from there, like Hurraw! (BEST lip balm I have ever had!) and Shiro Cosmetics (nerdy makeup in stunning colours), and its so nice to be able to try anything and everything on their website.

2) There Must Be a Better Way

As someone who suffers from sensitive and acne prone skin, this website has been invaluable to me. They offer a wide range of products for numerous skin conditions from normal to sensitive to acne prone to people with eczema, and these range across all skin and body treatments. They also offer well-being, nutrition, baby, home and aromatherapy products as well

Their products are harmful chemicals and pollutants free, and offer 100% vegetarian (most of which is vegan), fair trade, sustainable Cruelty Free products. They have a strict Integrity Ingredients policy which states that they do not carry any items which contain animal by products of any kind, including animal hair in brushes and all products have to comply with their no animal testing policy. They audit and update their ingredients list regularly and ensure their suppliers adhere to this.

They are also very friendly and are happy to help with any queries you might have for what kind of products might suit your skin/needs. I have bought numerous items from this site and will continue to use them as its such as great source for skincare that is Cruelty Free and that doesn’t affect my skin.

3)Honesty Cosmetics

This company has been manufacturing Cruelty Free products since before it was such a hot issue, in 1984. Their products are endorsed by the Vegan Society, BUAV, the Ethical Company Organisation and Naturewatch, but they also stock other brands who are animal and environmentally friendly, and some organic products too.

They stock products that are vegetarian, vegan and Cruelty Free but more than that, they come from companies who believe in what they are selling and their vegan/vegetarian/Cruelty Free beliefs are part of their core business ethical as well as personally believing in it too (see my last blog to read about companies who don’t believe in what they are selling…).

full-500x500.jpg

4) I Choose What I Use

This company stocks men, womens and childrens skincare as well as aromatherapy and sun care products. An excellent feature of this website is that you can filter by which certification you want to shop by e.g. only looking at PETA approved products or Fair Trade products.

They only sell Cruelty Free and vegan products, the majority of which are made up of naturally derived products. They are an excellent company which you should definitely check out.

5) PHB Ethical Beauty

This isn’t a stockist website like the other 4, however I have included this website as I believe it to be an excellent resource for those looking for Cruelty Free, vegan and ethical products.

PHB products are made in the UK, Cruelty Free, vegan, halal certified, palm oil free and organic! Phew! Plus, 20% of their profit goes to charity, so they really do seem to be a really great company, and one that Cruelty Freers and vegans alike can shop with, with no worries about what the products contain and where their money might be going.

Of course, you can also buy own-brand products from Supermarkets such as Marks and Spencers (though they do sell leather and other animal products), Tesco, Sainsburys and Aldi, all of which are Cruelty Free, available to most people and at a great price!

So please think about going Cruelty Free and help stop cruelty to animals!

Should we Support Trendy Lip Service?

Today I thought I would write about something that has been bothering me about one of my cosmetic brands, for a change of pace.

Jeffree-star-01

I went through a phase not long ago when I was completely obsessed with Jeffree Star cosmetics and was dying to buy his products. However, being in the UK it was slightly more difficult to get the colours I wanted and had to resort to a US company.

a9bdde26ff6478d388ac7f005bc0d324

The reason I went for Jeffree Star makeup, and why I was so excited about it, was four-fold;

  1. The whole line is cruelty free and vegan, which is obviously a non-negotiable aspect for me.
  2. He did liquid lipsticks that STAYED in place. I have always loved lipstick but really hated the transfer I would get from drinking tea or kissing my boyfriend, plus the move onto tea, the staining of teacups and the Robert-Smith-style smear of lipstick all over your face after kissing…not pretty to anyone. And because of all this movement, you would have to reapply lipstick at least 2-3 times a day. To know I could buy a liquid lipstick without buying from a cruel brand was awesome!
  3. The liquid lipsticks came in number of bright and interesting colours – now I’m a girl who ALWAYS wears red lipstick to work, and in the evenings and weekends loves to play with black, blue, green, purple…pretty much any colour I can get other than nude. To find a company that was Cruelty Free AND did this wide range of colours in liquid lipstick was so great. And the fact they were eye safe opened up a whole new world of make-up playing in my future.
  4. The fact that it was a ‘trendy’ brand (and I tend to steer clear of these because they generally are not Cruelty Free) meant I knew the brand would be easier to get in the UK and would probably continue to bring our new and interesting products. Plus for once, it was nice to be included and understand what everyone was talking about.

cba6d7c0-f288-0133-800e-0e31b36aeb7f.png

So when I made my first purchases, after extensive research into his brand, I was very excited to try them out and loved how they applied and looked. So with my new found love of his products, I began to follow Jeffree Star on YouTube. And this was where my problem occurred.

maxresdefault (1)

As I watched video after video of tutorials of his where he applied his flawless makeup, I noticed that he was using a lot of products that weren’t Cruelty Free, such as L’Oreal, MAC and Benefit, all of which are NOT Cruelty Free. Now, as I said previously, he has stated many times that his products are Cruelty Free, yet he himself is clearly not.

670px-Build-Your-MAC-Makeup-Collection-Step-2.jpg

So my question is this; Can I support a brand that itself is Cruelty Free, knowing that whilst my money is not supporting a cruel brand or any animal testing, it is going to someone who is buying Non-Cruelty-Free products and supporting the brands that I loathe with all my being and the suffering they cause to animals for profit?

maxresdefault.jpg

This has left me with quite the debate. I love his products, I think he is a very interesting person and I love men who wear makeup/are drag queens. I also love his brand and the products I am buying are Cruelty Free, yet, in my mind, my money ultimately is ending up in the hands of L’Oreal through Jeffree Star and therefore I am supporting animal testing. Or am I over-thinking this? Therefore, Jeffree Star and his products have raised an issue for me that I haven’t thought of before but is making me question other brands I support.

c9620f934936b06a0f20f83c4f1b42b7.jpg

I know that I would prefer to buy from and support people who are Cruelty-Free themselves as well as their brand and who  believe the same things I do; that animal testing is archaic and cruel, and has no place in the modern world we live in. That it is barbaric and the brands that allow this to occur in their name for profit are evil. That one day, I hope animals will be free from pain and suffering caused by humans who harm and kill them for so many reasons – vanity; in clothes, cosmetics and cleaning, for reasons that no longer exist; animal testing for medical use when it no longer applies nor yields the best results, for food; the suffering and death of dogs, cats and rabbits caused in Asia and the surrounding area just for a snack. I want my money to support the brands that believe this and take no part in any of these cruel practices. So I guess this limits me down once again with my choice of brands and products.

PETA-Living-beauty-brands-still-test-v031.jpg

Ultimately it feels to me like someone who creates a brand that is Cruelty Free whilst not believing in animal welfare, and supporting other brands that are Not-Cruelty-Free is just paying lip service to those who care about animals just to bring more money in. It feels like they are playing at being Cruelty-Free without knowing or caring about animal testing, and what it means to those of us who truly care. It feels like it is being done, once again, for money and profits, not the welfare of animals.

Too-Faced-Haute-Chocolate-Spring-2014-0.jpg

And yet we do want to support those brands that are Cruelty-Free so hopefully it will become more widespread, more brands will become Cruelty-Free, and those large corporate companies that care only for money will understand that more and more people want Cruelty-Free products and they will not support brands that are involved in this practice. By doing this, by showing the big brands that Cruelty-Free is the only way to make money, we can ultimately stop animal testing for cosmetics and create this change throughout the world. But that’s a long way off yet, and until more people UNDERSTAND what Cruelty-Free means and choosing not to support these brands, we have to support those brands who want this future too.

maxresdefault (2).jpg

This is probably a ramble, and yet it is an issue that has been bothering me recently. I know there is a lot of bashing and bad-mouthing about Jeffree Star going on at the moment, but I personally am only really interested in his brand and his products, on the question of supporting a Cruelty-Free Brand not owned by a cruel brand but ultimately giving its money to a brand that not only supports but conducts animal testing on their products. Its a conundrum.

IMG_9964.jpg

My conclusion is that I dont think I will be repurchasing Jeffree Stars makeup. I believe that if I am going to spend my money on companies that are Cruelty-Free, I want to know that that is a philosophy that the owners themselves support and is part of their lives as much as it is my own. And its easier to spot those companies that obviously are owned by true Cruelty-Free people, such as Hourglass, Illamasqua and Too Faced. I think I will now be more exclusive with my brand choices and really support those who are truly Cruelty-Free and actively want to end animal testing and animal suffering throughout the world.

Please do leave your thoughts down below if you have anything to add about this, or your own perspective as I would love to hear the opinion of someone else who is Cruelty-Free.

Stop Yulin 2016

Jiang+Hong+2015_4_600x400

June 21st.

Days away.

Soon the brutal torture and murder of innocent dogs and cats will begin.

29C6A00E00000578-3131202-Cruel_Images_taken_in_Yulin_only_this_morning_show_cats_crammed_-a-45_1434724426318

The Yulin Festival will once again be being ‘celebrated’ in China this year on June 21st, despite last years disgust and outcry against the festival, and the 11 million signed petition being presented to the Chinese government only days ago.

357270

I have already written about the Horrors of the Dog Meat trade with all the details of why some Asian people believe in torturing, killing and eating dogs and cats throughout the year but specifically during the Yulin Festival. The suffering and torment of the dogs who are stolen from their families, tortured horrifically with blow torches, boiling acid and blunt instruments before their throats are slit, all whilst they are still alive and conscious  is barbaric and just plain evil.

29D2EE6600000578-0-image-a-32_1434895726413

Whilst many might say that the Yulin Festival is a tradition rooted within Chinese culture, this festival only began in 2010 by dog meat traders to try and bring up the sales of dog meat which were flagging. Others might say that eating dog is the same as Westerners eating cows, pigs or chickens, yet we DO NOT torture every single animal before they are killed and do not begin cutting into them whilst they are still fully alive and conscious. There are exceptions to this but they do not stand for the industry as a whole in comparison to the dog meat industry where it is not just common place but accepted and encouraged to torture the dogs to ‘improve the flavour’. And we do not eat farm animals to improve our sexual prowess. There is a marked difference in our treatment of farm animals and the dogs and cats who suffer in China.

_83774160_83773911

People all over the world have cried out against the cruelty and asked for the festival to be ended. There has more coverage on the festival, and China as a whole, over the last few years than ever before, and it is because of social media. There have been more articles written and celebrities speaking out against this than ever before, just see below for all the articles written in the last few months about this festival from all over the world.

And so I ask you, days before this horrific spectacle of human cruelty begins, to think about those dogs who will be boiled alive, have their legs cut off, burned alive, bludgeoned, cut and tortured for entertainment and for snacks. Think of your own dog or dogs you know and love, and imagine it happening to them. Imagine the terror your dog would experience and the fear and agony you would feel if you knew that was where your dog was going. Think of all the pain and suffering they will undergo…for a snack. For male sexual potency. For entertainment.

The Cruel Horror of the Dog Meat Trade

To follow on from my dog leather post that I released, below is a post about the dog meat trade that is prevalent throughout Asia.

29C6A00E00000578-3131202-Cruel_Images_taken_in_Yulin_only_this_morning_show_cats_crammed_-a-45_1434724426318.jpg

If you have read my previous post on dog leather, you will know that dogs in China are in great danger of being stolen from their families or from the streets and taken to be brutally slaughter for their skin. Yet there is also another great threat to these innocent animals. The dog meat trade is very lucrative and widespread throughout numerous countries in Asia; its estimated that the trade is ‘worth around 20 million a year in Thailand alone and is driven by highly organised criminal gangs involved not only in the dog meat business but in narcotics and human smuggling. These gangs terrorizes families who try to protect their pets and have even resulted in attacks and murder to continue this trade..

ay107405860dog-meat-trade.jpg

Thousands of dogs every year are stolen from family homes, owners and from the streets. They are thrown into steel cages along with a large number of other dogs already captured and there can be as many as 10-20 dogs stuffed into one cage. Sometimes their mouthes are tapped shut so they cannot bark. This continues until their captors have filled an entire truck with dog cages stacked on top of each other, at which point they are transported to either a local restaurant, slaughter house or to neighboring countries. This means that the dogs can be left in the trucks for days, or even weeks, without being able to move and given no food or water. Many die on this trip from the heat, starvation, dehydration or even suffocation due to the number of dogs in one cage, but are left in the cages with the live dogs. Unfortunately, its sad to say that these are probably the lucky ones who escape the torment that awaits the other dogs. Sometimes dogs are bound with rope and dragged behind motorcycles through the street before beginning their journey to neighboring countries.

1414506319341_wps_13_An_intercepted_cargo_of_d.jpg

Once they arrive at their destination, they are clubbed on the head with metal pipes or blocks of wood until they are unconscious and their throats are slit. The dogs will struggle for minutes to stay alive whilst their skin is torn off and they are hung from hooks through their mouths or flung into the back of trucks to be taken to restaurants.

25B2779600000578-2867219-image-a-6_1423988933867.jpg

Some dogs are not stolen, but reared in puppy farms similar to what we have here in the UK and across Europe. However, these dogs are not sold on to loving families; they will spend their whole lives in cages and be force fed rice through a tube which is viciously shoved down the dogs throat to increase its weights. The dogs will then be sold on to tortured, killed and eaten. Even puppies are at risk; dog meat traders breed and then slaughter week-old puppies to then be smuggled out of Thailand to be sold as single-meal delicacies’ across Asia.

ea8bff13a2c4015a5a118207391ba5a8.jpg

18 million dogs are eaten every year in Asia, including Thailand, Vietnam, South Korea, Philippines and China. This barbaric practice of eating dog meat has become fashionable in these countries, as a sign of wealth but also for its supposed effects; young men in Vietnam believe that eating dog meat will make them more potent, whilst others believe it can purge you of bad luck. Yet it cannot be denied that eating dog meat has health concerns; it can lead to the spread of rabies across these countries as well as the spread diseases such as such as cholera and trichinellosis, both of which can be fatal.

_83774160_83773911.jpg

Whats worse is that many people within Asia believe that fear, adrenaline and pain make the dog meat taste better, so the dogs are tortured before they are killed. This involves such things as burning them with blow torches, dunking them in acid, boiling them and being stabbed, all whilst they are still alive. Much of Asia eat dog meat all year but such practices are popular at dog meat festivals such as the Yulin Festival, in the Guangxi province in China, which begins during the summer solstice, around 21st June to the 30th June when tourism booms and the demand for dog meat rises.

29D2EE6600000578-0-image-a-32_1434895726413.jpg

But festivals involving eating dogs are not just limited to the Yulin festival; almost all celebrations in Vietnam, particularly at the end of the lunar month calls for a trip to one of many dog meat only restaurants. Locals say they dont know and they dont care about where the meat comes from, only that it tastes good and they love to eat it.

29D2F14700000578-0-image-a-35_1434899201623.jpg

During the Yulin festival alone, at least 10,000 dogs are eaten, if not more. The streets are crowded with cages stuffed with live dogs, and, after queing to get in,people can go and choose their dog they would like to eat. The vendor then performs any number of tortures on the dogs, as detailed above before they are either  clubbed and have their throats slit or are burnt to death with a blow torch. The dogs are then cut up, cooked how the person likes it, as braised dog meat, dog casserole or deep fried dog, and served up for only £2 for half a kg.

yulin-5-537x402.jpg

It should be noted that this festival is not limited just to dogs though; cats are also rounded up and tortured before they are served up as meals.

CwOyrIkHpfMNyai-556x313-noPad.jpg

This festival has been criticized widely for its cruel nature, but some people say that this is just a cultural difference, in the same way we have eaten cattle for a very long time Asia has eaten dogs. However this festival is not a long standing tradition, nor is it a cultural issue due to its relatively new. There is no reason for the extreme brutality they perform, nor for the intense suffering they cause these dogs. One reason that this festival is allowed to happen, even though there are health risks and animal welfare issues, is that there are no health and safety or hygiene regulations, nor are there welfare laws protecting the animals. It is completely legal to eat dog in China, yet the Guangxi province has the highest number of rabies related deaths whilst the highest penalty for animal cruelty in Thailand, for example is £20. This small fee doesnt compare to the highly profitable trade that is rampant through Asia, and the gangs that steal the dogs can simply pay the fee and move on to their next shipment. The dog meat trade, and the dog meat festivals are doing better and better every year, despite the outrage from Western countries.

073b2ca6beb9bd5d9b937834f008d857.jpg

Celebrities have spoken out against this festival, including Kim Basinger, Simon Cowell and Ricky Gervais who have spoken strongly against it and has even saved a number of dogs and cats from the festival itself.

However it should be pointed out that whilst a large number of people in China do partake in the eating of dog and cat meat, and in festivals that celebrate this, that not ALL Chinese people do eat this and many abhor this practice as much as we do. The people who torture, kill and eat these dogs and cats are cruel, brutal and barbaric beings who I cannot understand, however we cannot assume that all Chinese people are like this and we do no good by condemn the entire country. One key way to truly stop this is by changing the opinions of those who live in Asia, and those in the next generation who will change these laws that allow such cruelty to happen.

Dog_home.jpg

This practice is barbaric and horrific. I cannot understand how anyone can do these things to innocent dogs, and cats, and I cannot understand how people can idly stand by and let this happen, and then eat the dog meat! I don’t believe this is a cultural difference, this is cruel, abhorrent and evil. We have to show our disgust for this, and solidarity with those in and out of Asia who shun this suffering. We must do everything we can to end this practice and bring the consumption of dog meat, and intense dog suffering to an end.

I beg you to do anything you can to stop this trade. Sign petitions, donate, protest, do anything but please do not ignore this. We have to stop this trade and these dogs suffering these obscene tortures and cruel deaths. Please, please help them.

Another Victory for Bunnies!

PETA ran a massive campaign last week, asking for people to contact The Kooples about the use of angora fur in their stores.

_MG_8871-540x358

As of Friday afternoon, The Kooples have stated that they will never use angora fur again!!

tumblr_m8pw3sCzzu1rc06yfo1_500

This is excellent news, one that shows that pressure from compassionate people who express their beliefs about brands CAN make a difference. The impact that those calls etc had on the company cannot be dismissed, and because of that rabbits will not suffer for Kooples products.

Of course Kooples are still not a cruelty free company, as they still sell products lined with real fur from other animals such as racoon dogs, and there are still companies out there who still use angora, so there is still work to do. However, this is another big step for bunnies, and I’m so happy that the Kooples have changed their policy and no longer supporting this cruel trade against rabbits.

0_0_0_0_637_372_csupload_66781271

I am currently in the process of contacing designers about angora fur, and hopefully will get back some interesting answers about the use of this type of fur within the fashion industry. I will, of course, post my findings on here as and when I receive them.

Angora

Congrats to PETA for pushing to achieve this, and to the Kooples for changing their policy and show kindness to rabbits. This is a great victory for welfare supporters and for bunnies

dwarf-angora-babies-for-sale-51c6eabfac76a

Lets keep pushing for an end to the angora fur trade, and to a kinder world to rabbits!

The Horror of Dog Leather

Animal-Cruelty

There are four subjects on animal welfare that, above all else, break my heart and I desperately want to stop. I have of course already spoken about animal testing, and about the suffering of rabbits to produce angora fur. I also recently posted about the horrors of puppy farming and why we need to stop this terrible trade that so many blindly support. The next two posts are about my last heartbreak. This is hard for me to write about, which is why it has taken me so long.

vietnam-dog-wars

In Asia, not just China but Asia as a whole, the dog meat and leather trade is abundant and lucrative. People capture dogs off the streets, both strays and pets, stuff them into crates one on top of the other with absolutely no regard for their comfort or welfare and then put onto trucks to transport them miles and miles with no food or water in the blistering heat. Many dogs die on this journey, and are left in the crates with the live dogs until the arrive at their final destination. Once there, the crates are thrown from the truck to the floor, again completely disregarding the welfare of the dogs and the injuries caused by this.

From this point, the dogs can go in two directions; for dog meat or for dog leather. For this post we will discuss dog leather, my next post will be about dog meat.

26468FE900000578-2977448-image-a-48_1425387947659

The dogs which are captured are taken to warehouses throughout China, as well as dogs which are bred for the leather in puppy farms throughout the country. These facilities are generally worse than the puppy farms in this country as China has no animal welfare laws. Once at these factories the dogs are all put into pens to wait for their demise. They are grabbed with metal pinchers around the neck, dragged onto the killing floor and then are smashed in the head with wooden poles repeatedly. The lucky ones are killed instantly by the blunt force of this, some fall unconscious but the truly unlucky cry out in immense pain.

242471C100000578-2878962-image-a-8_1418906533165

Their throats are then sliced open while they are still alive and writhing in agony, struggling to breathe. Still alive and in horrific pain, their skin is ripped from their bodies and they are left to die a slow, painful death. The dogs are then gutted and their carcasses hung on metal hooks throughout the warehouse. This is all in front of the rest of the dogs who are to be killed, all of which bark and yelp at the violence, blood, the wails of dogs who are dying and knowing they are next. There is no escape.

FdR6ESq7

A major investigation was done by PETA into the dog leather trade, and at the time of the investigation an owner of one plant told they they had 30,000 pieces of dog leather in stock and they ‘bludgeon and skin 100 to 200 dogs a day.’ For PETAs full investigation, video, images and petition please go to their Dog Leather page. PLEASE NOTE; There are extremely graphic pictures and video on this site of dogs and what happens at the facility. Do not search for or go on this page if you are sensitive to graphic images. Please also note that in no way do I condemn or condone PETA and their actions, I simply cite this as a source of information.

Once the skin has been taken from the dogs it is dyed, dried and made into leather products such as gloves, belts, shoes, cat toys and accessories. These products are also mis-sold as simply ‘leather’, ‘faux leather’ or sometimes cow leather.

There is simply no way to know which leather item is dog leather and which is cattle leather. If you buy a leather item, you don’t know what leather it is. The dog leather trade is a fairly unknown process, and many people believe that all leather items are from cattle, but this is simply not true. So many of the items on sale throughout the world is made from dog leather; Marks and Spencers sell leather gloves which are made in China, which suggests they are dog leather. Primark also sell products made in China. Items sold on sites such as ebay as faux leather and leather will be made from dog leather as it such a cheap resource. Most shops hold dog leather items even designer clothes can be made from dog leather!

These dogs suffer exponentially during this ordeal, all so we can have cheap (and expensive) leather items. This makes no sense when you can buy plastic faux leather items which look just as good. The reason dog leather is used is because it is so cheap. It all comes down to money again; money before welfare.

How can we allow the dog leather trade to continue, and support it by buying leather items, when so many of us adore dogs and share our lives with them? Many people would do anything for their dogs, so how can we allow these dogs to suffer so much pain and die a pointless death alone in factory, perhaps never knowing love and joy? How can we allow people to lose their pet dogs to these people and never know what happens to them?

But more than this, much more is the act of not buying leather. By not buying leather, you are not supporting the cruelty and agony that these animals go through, and not giving your money to the people that put these animals through their torture and brutal death.

Dogs deserve safety, love and happiness, and there is no difference between the dogs we all love so much and the dogs that suffer at the hands of these cruel men. So please don’t buy leather, don’t support this cruel industry and spread the word about dog leather.

Please show that you care for dogs and do not buy leather.

Lip Balm that wants to be kissed

DSC_0080[1]

I’ve decided to do a few posts on some make-up, for a change from my heavier stuff.

So to start with, here is my ‘Little Cherry Red Tube’ flavoured lip balm, an own brand product from Superdrug.

I have always preferred flavoured lip balms to normal ones – much nicer on your lips to plain or minty ones…and nicer on someone elses lips too! – so I thought I’d give this little guy a try when I spied him in Superdrug.

Compared with Vasaline (Owned by Unilver, one of the big bads for animal testing on a wide range of products) and all the other big names for lip balms, this one is Leaping Bunny approved and is Cruelty Free. Its also suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

This is a great lip balm; I hate when lip balm stay on your lips for ages but this one stayed on for a while before absorbing, leaving my lips feel really soft. I had a cracked lip at the side of my mouth which just kept opening up no matter what I did but one slick of this over my lips and it was gone within a day. It also smells very strong of cherry when you open it which dissipated soon after applying, however it doesn’t have any colour to it just looks like a gloss before it sinks in.

For those of you who are fussy about your applicators, this is what it looks like

This was £1.50 and has lasted me over three months, which I think is great. Like I said, it can be quite difficult to find a lip balm on the high street which isn’t Vasaline, Nivea or any of those kinds and that is any good but this one is just as good as any of those, if not better. Soft lips, good price and a yummy smell and taste that just begs for you to be kissed!
